"Due to recent global events, Project Saccharine has been activated.
Our aim is to shed the husk of the old society and create a new age for mankind; one not plagued by the mistakes of the past. A perfect society by any means necessary."
Project Saccharine is a turn based X4 strategy game similar to the classic Civilization games but with an Orwellian twist; you start your empire following a nuclear war, and now you must rebuild from the ground up. Not only will this brave new world offer you quite a bit of obstacles to overcome, but the citizens of your civilization will quickly become unrestful and in need of discipline. But with future technology never before thought possible seemingly within grasp, neither problem should be too much to handle.
This is game is very early in development, so I'm looking for as much advice on programming as I can! I'd love to talk to you and get your thoughts on what I can do to see this game full potential. The planning stage is finished and I'm currently working on the foundation of the game. My goal is to get a working prototype out so that people can try it out for themselves. Like I said earlier, this game is heavily inspired by civilizations and just old dystopian novels in general, and I'd really like to get to a point where that's self evident by the gameplay. For now, if this sounds like something you'd want to play, talk to me! I'm always happy to receive help.
