Duru

“Duru” is a 2D game in which you play the mole rat Tuli who suffers from depression. The illness is depicted as a dark creature that follows you around. You have to learn how to solve puzzles with and against this unusual AI companion. You can also explore the mole rat colony and see how Tuli’s illness effects the relationships with her friends – e.g. through interaction and picture dialogs with the NPCs. With “Duru” we want to further destigmatize depression and show what you can do, what small gestures might help if you have a friend or loved one who suffers from this illness.
