A shady group of corporations and finance companies have taken over the world and now completely control the majority of government positions. Wealth inequality has grown at astronomical rates. The working class now make less than ever and CEO's are making more than ever. The people 125 years ago thought they had it bad, hah! We now live under a one world digital currency called the Terra. Every transaction is tracked and monitored for "illegal purchases", with violators processed to the fullest extent. Most are sentenced to government prisons where they spend their days turning big rocks, into little rocks. What was once a free and open internet is now nothing more than a propaganda machine for the rich and powerful. Influencers, the dredge of society, trying to control your every thought. It's no longer a place where one with a little know how and gusto can go for it and make something of themselves. Instead we use it against those that wish to control us. Most transactions on the black market happen in dark data. We farm, meaning take by any means necessary, the data and expose their evil crimes against humanity. We live in a world now where data is money, and money is data. Any real commerce happens in the trade and bartering of data. Join the corporations and be a sniveling rat? Or join the resistance and bring down the corporations? You decide.
